These Terms of Service (“Terms,” “Agreement”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) and Antique-Search.net (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your access to and use of the website located at www.antique-search.net and all related pages, features, and services (collectively, the “Site” or “Service”).

Antique-Search.net is a free online directory of antique shops, stores, antique malls, and related businesses located throughout the United States. The Service provides:

Permitted & Prohibited Use

The Site is provided for lawful, personal, and commercial use in connection with finding antique shops and related information. The following outlines what you may and may not do:

We reserve the right to investigate and, where appropriate, take legal action against anyone who violates these Terms, including without limitation reporting them to law enforcement authorities, blocking their access to the Site, or pursuing civil remedies.

Directory Listings

Free Listing Submission: Antique shop owners and operators may submit their business for inclusion in the directory free of charge. By submitting a listing, you represent and warrant that:

• You are the owner or authorized representative of the business being listed
• All information submitted is accurate, current, and complete to the best of your knowledge
• Your business is a legitimate antique shop, store, or related business operating within the United States
• You will notify us of any changes to your business information (address, hours, phone number, closure) in a timely manner

Our Editorial Discretion: We reserve the right to accept, reject, edit, or remove any listing at our sole discretion, including listings that:

• Do not meet our definition of an antique shop or related business
• Contain inaccurate, misleading, or spam content
• Relate to businesses that have closed or relocated without notification
• Receive consistently negative user feedback or complaints
• Violate applicable law or these Terms

No Paid Ranking: Listings are not ranked, promoted, or displayed preferentially based on payment. Our directory reflects genuine business information and quality indicators. We do not accept payment in exchange for preferential placement, ranking, or featuring of any listing.

Third-Party Data: Some listing information (including ratings, review counts, and business hours) may be sourced from third-party providers including Google Business profiles and other publicly available sources. We are not responsible for the accuracy of third-party data. Business owners who believe their listing information is inaccurate should contact us to request a correction.

Intellectual Property

Our Content: The Site and its original content — including but not limited to editorial articles, guides, destination roundups, the directory structure and organization, logos, trademarks, graphics, and the software underlying the Site — are owned by or licensed to Antique-Search.net and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

What You May Not Do:

• Reproduce, distribute, or publicly display our editorial content without prior written permission
• Use our name, logo, or trademarks without written consent
• Create derivative works based on our content
• Systematically copy listing data to build a competing database or directory

What You May Do:

• Share links to pages on our Site
• Quote brief excerpts from our editorial content with attribution and a link back to the original page (fair use)
• Use listing information (business name, address, phone) for personal reference — this information is factual and not subject to copyright

User-Submitted Content: By submitting a listing, correction request, or any other content to the Site, you grant Antique-Search.net a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content as part of the directory. You represent and warrant that you have the right to grant this license and that your submission does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party.

Accuracy of Information & Disclaimers

While we make every reasonable effort to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the information provided on the Site, we cannot guarantee that all information is current, complete, or error-free. Specifically:

• Business hours are sourced from business owners, Google Business profiles, and other public sources, and may not reflect real-time changes
• Addresses may be outdated if a business has moved without notifying us
• Open/closed status is not verified in real-time — businesses may close temporarily or permanently
• Ratings and reviews are aggregated from third-party sources and reflect the opinions of those third parties, not necessarily our own assessment
• Inventory descriptions, where included, are provided by business owners and are subject to change

We strongly recommend verifying critical information (particularly business hours and whether a business is still operating) directly with the business before making travel plans or a special trip.

We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, free of viruses or other harmful components, or that defects will be corrected. We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of any information on the Site.

Third-Party Links & Services

The Site contains links to third-party websites, including individual antique shop websites, Google Maps, and other external resources. These links are provided for your convenience and informational purposes only.

We have no control over the content, privacy practices, or policies of any third-party websites and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them. The inclusion of any link does not imply our endorsement of the linked website or its operator.

When you leave our Site to visit a third-party website, you do so at your own risk and subject to the terms and conditions and privacy policies of that website.

We use Google Maps API to provide location and directions functionality. Your use of Google Maps through our Site is subject to Google’s Terms of Service (maps.google.com/help/terms_maps) and Google’s Privacy Policy.

Limitation of Liability

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve months prior to the claim (which, given that the Service is free, would be zero).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you in full.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Antique-Search.net and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your use of the Site in a manner not authorized by these Terms
• Any listing submission you provide that is false, misleading, inaccurate, or infringes on third-party rights
• Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
• Your infringement of any intellectual property or other rights of any third party

We reserve the right, at our own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which event you will cooperate with us in asserting any available defenses.

Termination & Access Restriction

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Site immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation if you breach these Terms.

We also reserve the right to:

• Remove any listing from the directory at any time and for any reason, including listings that violate these Terms, contain inaccurate information, or relate to businesses that have closed
• Refuse to accept listing submissions from any person or entity
• Block IP addresses or other identifiers associated with abusive use of the Site
• Discontinue the Service entirely with reasonable notice to users

Upon termination, your right to access the Site ceases immediately. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination — including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability — shall continue to apply.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the applicable laws of the state in which Antique-Search.net is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site that cannot be resolved informally shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation between the parties. If such negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration conducted in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction for claims involving intellectual property infringement.

Class Action Waiver: You agree that any arbitration or proceeding shall be limited to the dispute between us and you individually. To the full extent permitted by law, no arbitration or proceeding shall be joined with any other, and you waive any right to commence or participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Changes to These Terms
